I got 3D scanned

AaronTyler_3D scan_VR

I recently got 3D scanned by Marcus at Punkoffice.

It’s a process called ‘photogrammetry’ which is similar to creating a panoramic picture out of multiple photos, but in 3D space. To make it happen, over 80 cameras set up in a 360 rig take a photograph simultaneously. The images are then converted into a 3D model, polished and optimised for the web. My Avatar could then be rigged up, and uploaded into a virtual world/game.

Beam me up scotty.
